Few people are objective enough about their own behaviour to be able to clearly decide whether or not what they're doing is wrong. In fact, not even a totally unbiased outside party is really capable of deciding what is right and wrong. It really depends on what your intentions or goals are and the means by which you can achieve them.

You see, I believe that we are all responsible for our own happiness. The onus of being able to draw positive ideas and bits of lifestyle from other people is entirely on you. Failure to successfully apply those ideas cannot be blamed on the source. Imagine owning a house and someone approaches you about renting it out; for some reason, you agree. While living in your house, Person X decides to repaint the interior entirely in mauve. Carpets and all. After completing the project, Person X decides she doesn't like it and for that reason, files a complaint with you, the owner and then moves out. So now, living in this mauve house, you stand there thinking, "What the hell kind of an analogy was that? I don't even know what you're talking about."
