These Help topics deal with using the website as a reader and any how-to's that could conceivably pop up if you were visiting for the first time. Or at least it starts to deal with it, and then the author realizes that it's something of a Herculean task to explain a wiki to someone who knows nothing about it.
So mostly, just click on stuff. You might find something interesting.

Navigation around Et cetera can go from being delightfully simple (in the form of just browsing and clicking on whatever links are clickable), right down to the exceedingly complex (in the form of reading/viewing comments, intuitive categorization of articles and tracking every little minor edit through a user account that sends you e-mail each time specific pages of your choice are altered). It's really up to you. Obviously, nobody needs instructions on how to browse a website randomly (and if you do, you probably aren't reading this yet), but I've always been the type to try and squeeze every last bit of practical functionality out of everything. So if you're anything like me, this is your instruction manual for running around the wiki interface of this website.
